“This painting is fairly self explanatory but for those not familiar with Iowa state policy decisions or from local policy moves made by local leadership; this painting is a metaphor of my opinion of the current situation. This state and this city are not a safe or idealistic location for my family going forward. I used to have hope that things could or would change but that's in short supply these days. The systems in place are broken but are working exactly how they were made to work. So I just do what I know how to do and paint what I see/feel. Thanks for looking and reading.”
